Yes. A pergola at one end of the barn features a round concrete area for guests. The couple can stand under a beautiful heavy timber pergola in front of an open 8-foot sliding barn door, or turn around and use the open field as a background. There is also a field option with barn doors and a woodsy backdrop, plus a covered pavilion.
Absolutely — don't worry. There is plenty of room inside the barn for both an indoor ceremony and reception. You may also use the covered pavilion, or hold the ceremony on the loft overlooking the lower level as your guests sit comfortably below.
Yes. The groom never has to see the bride before the wedding. A separate dressing and staging room is provided for both. The bride also has several grand entrance options at Whispering Pines Farm.
No — that's why we don't have a dedicated vendor page. The choice is completely yours. We'll offer affordable suggestions as needed, but you are free to use whomever you like.
Yes. Your guests will enjoy comfort year-round with our central heating and air conditioning system.
Soft alcohol only — wine, beer, and champagne. No hard liquor. You must bring your own and take it with you when you leave. Cash bars are not permitted.
Yes! The kitchen comes fully equipped with an oven/cooktop, refrigerator, sink, and spacious stainless steel work tables, all included at no extra cost. Please keep in mind that the kitchen is available for food prep and warming purposes only — full meal cooking is not permitted at this time due to health department regulations.
We accept cash and personal checks only. A $250 refundable damage deposit is required to reserve your date. 50% of the total fee is due 6 months prior to your wedding date, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your wedding date. Checks can be made payable to Whispering Pines Farm and mailed to 5338 County Road 804, Wedowee, AL 36278. Cash must be hand-delivered.
Yes, however young children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Children are not permitted in the loft area.
Your fee includes use of the barn, kitchen, restrooms, dressing rooms, tables and chairs, the loft, the pergola, the front porch, the parking area, and all 28 acres — plus tablecloths, runners, lanterns, candles, coolers, chafing dishes, props, signage, and much more. You will be pampered!
No additional fees for any items we have on site. If you don't see something listed, just ask — chances are we have it and it's included.
