Do you have a place for an outdoor ceremony?

Yes...a pergola area is located at one end of the barn and features a round concrete area to accommodate as many guests as you can fit on the patio area. The bride/groom can stand under a beautiful heavy timber pergola in front on an open 8 foot sliding barn door.

Is there a back-up plan if the weather is bad?

Yes...Don't worry about that....There is plenty of room inside the barn to accommodate an indoor wedding as well as a reception. You may also choose to have the ceremony on the loft overlooking the bottom level as your guests sit in comfort below. 

Are there private dressing rooms for the bride and groom?

Yes....The groom never has the see the bride before the wedding. A separate dressing/staging room is there for both the bride and groom. The bride also has several options to make a grand entrance at Whispering Pines Farm.

Are we required to use your caterer, wedding planner, photographer, and floral provider?

No...That's why we don't have  dedicated page for these services. The choice is yours!!

Does the barn have air conditioning and heating?

Yes...your guests will enjoy comfort year round.

Is alcohol allowed?

Yes...Soft alcohol only please. Wine, beer and champagne only. No hard liquor!!!!! You will be held responsible should anything happen regarding alcohol consumption during your event. You must bring your own alcohol and take it with you when you leave. No cash bars are allowed.

Are kitchen facilities available?

Yes...The kitchen is equipped with appliances including an oven/cook top for warming, a refrigerator,  a sink and ample stainless steel work tables. There is no additional charge for this.

Are parking accommodations provided?

Yes...A designated parking area is located steps away from the barn. 

What form of payment do you accept to reserve my special day?

We accept cash and checks only. We require  50% of the total rental charge to reserve your date. The remaining balance will be due 30 days prior to your event date. 

Are children allowed on the premises?

Yes, however, young children need to be supervised by an adult and are not allowed in the loft area.

What does my rental fee include?

Your rental fee includes use of the barn, kitchen facilities, bathroom facilities, bride/groom dressing areas, tables and chairs (several seating options are available), the loft area, the outside pergola area, the front porch seating area, the parking area, 28 acres to explore, numerous picture opportunities including use of tablecloths (white only). It also includes use of a host of other items that I have onsite at no extra charge to you. 

Are there any additional fees?

There are no additional fees for any items we have on site that you may want to use. This could include beverage coolers, burlap table runners, etc. We will do our best to provide you with anything extra you may need for your special day. Please know that you will be pampered when you book with us!!

Please visit the Rental Fee page on this website. If you don't see what you're looking for, just give us a call at (256) 499-2399. Because we are new, we do have an introductory price that will amaze you.
